Con.Tempo Dance & Art School is a contemporary dance education center founded by Elena Galkanopoulou, an accomplished dancer, choreographer and dance teacher with many years of experience in the field. Elena, from the age of 6, discovered her passion for dance, and since then she has dedicated her life to studying, teaching and creating in dance.

Elena is a graduate of the Phyllida Mantziaris Higher Professional School of Dance and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the Department of Early Childhood Education, specializing in music and movement education. In addition, she holds degrees in teaching classical ballet and modern dance from the recognized English system ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

With continuous training and participation in classical, contemporary dance and commercial jazz seminars in Greece, Europe and America, Elena has been trained by leading dancers and choreographers. As a professional dancer, she has collaborated with big names in the artistic field, participating in theatrical performances, events, television broadcasts, video clips and shows.

At Con.Tempo, we offer a wide range of dance classes, from classical ballet and contemporary dance, to modern, commercial jazz and special artist movement projects. Our goal is to offer our students the opportunity to develop through the art of dance, with respect for their needs and talents, cultivating their expressive movement, self-confidence and stage presence.
